Zanskar released the first set of songs from their Album ‘Raasta’ online in September 2009.
The two tracks released, ‘Jaane Tu’ and the title track ‘Raasta’, were loved by listeners for their refreshing sound.
Their Stage Act is truly energetic and enjoyable – given the eclectic mix of entertaining songs they play. True to their name: which means Simple, Good and Pure; This Band fuses simple melodies with Rock, and other genres, to create the rhythm that flows through the listener’s soul like that majestic river ‘unrestrained’. Their music inspires the young and the old to come together, question the established and seek utopia.

Out of the two tracks released, while on one hand, ‘Jaane Tu’ was adored for its young feel with the sound of Classic Rock n Roll; the title track ‘Raasta’, on the other hand, was loved by listeners for its refreshing sound which has a very calming effect.
